Students spend time with residents at Burnt Tavern Rehabilitation Center in Brick, NJ. What a treat it was for this resident to have her nails polished by this young woman.

A truly inspirational intergenerational chorus concert was held in December 2008 between residents of The Pines at Whiting in Whiting, NJ and the chorus from Toms River High School North in Toms River, NJ. When the joint chorus sang "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" together there were not too many dry eyes in the audience.

A wonderful, joyous time was had by all involved when CaregiverKids held a "Senior Prom" with residents of Riverside Manor Day Care Center in Lakewood, NJ. Look at the smiles on the faces of the "King" of the prom and the students.

All CaregiverKids receive "Aging Sensitivity Training" prior to participating in intergenerational programs. These students are experimenting with glasses that simulate various conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, etc. and realize that completing simple task might be more difficult for people as they age.
