Grant funds used to support a student mission trip for 10 Villa Maria Students to the St. Ann Outreach Center in Kingstree, SC.

The photo shows five of the Villa Maria College students who will travel to Kingstree SC, departing Sunday, March 23, 2008 to participate in a service project in conjunction with the St. Ann Outreach Center. The project was funded, in full, by the Leo Buscaglia Foundation. During their five day stay, students will serve those in need by helping to provide food and clothing, renovating homes in the area, assisting with after school programs, and serving in any other ways the staff at St. Ann’s deems necessary. The students starting meeting weekly on February 12, 2008 to prepare for their service experience.
