| Dear Friends,
This year has been a year of growth and change for the Leo Buscaglia Foundation. The Board and I are proud to share with you a description of the Foundation’s accomplishments. Highest on the list is our increased record of giving. Twenty-three organizations received grants from the Foundation for their good work in fostering the spirit of giving in their communities for a total of $120,000. This activity represents an increase of 109% in the number of organizations supported over the same time period last year.
These statistics reflect the Board’s commitment to expanding the activity of the Foundation thereby broadening its reach. We are also pleased and proud to be sponsoring our first fundraiser in conjunction with the Valley Village Foundation http://www.valleyvillage.org next June 23rd at the Sheraton Universal, Universal City, California. You will be invited.
On behalf of our Board and staff, thank you for your interest and past generosity. As you consider your charitable giving, we hope you will include the Leo Buscaglia Foundation. With your help, we will continue to spread Leo’s legacy and support the good works of organizations that are providing exceptional service to their communities.
With warm wishes,
Paul A. Gilbert
